Starting since the beginning of the week, it would be have not to have seen one of the advertisements for The Naughty Persian pop up somewhere. On devices, TV and elsewhere, announcing their soft reopening after a small renovation with a special theme night!

—And of course, special discounts for L.I.E.S. program participants.

While the ads and copy may make it sound like a cute, relaxing affair with cats to pet and play with, there are no photos of actual cats in the ads, but attractive men and women with realistic looking cat ears, tails curling around hips, and plenty of bare skin. It should become clear this is not your average cat cafe.

From the street, the doors open to a Victorian styled foyer, where a host greets each guest taking their name and explaining the rules and services available. Guests are offered a place to change should they want it, as well as cat ears and tails to borrow for their submissives if they'd like to play as well.

Led downstairs to the spacious basement, the aroma of coffee and vanilla mix together, welcoming guests just as much as the sights in front of them. The Dominant "baristas" behind the bar in sleek butler suit and slacks offer friendly nods, just as one of the "cats" appears with saying "Welcome home, Nyastah," before taking their guests' arm and helping them find a seat, into what may feel more like a brothel than cafe.

Each of the cats wear special red bells, signifying them as house pets, as it were, and are free to play with if they find your company suitable. They are cats after all, with their own unique personalities. Should you find one you want to play with in private all you need to do is ask the barista, and you'll be led to a private room with all the toys, tools, and implements you could ever want. For a small fee.

This being a special night, there are male and female cats with white bells, marking them as temporary pets. Those instructed by their Dominant partner as well as those simply adventurous and curious enough to take on the role of a "cat" for the night, to play with the other guests.

With a full cafe drink menu, as well as baristas capable of serving something stronger if you'd prefer, you are welcomed to spend your time leisurely. Find a cat, or maybe a cat will find you. Scratch their ears, play with them with one of the toys around, or even get a little more naughty with your cat. So long as a guest keeps it within reason they can play with their cat as much as they (and their cat) wants to, so it's not uncommon to hear a few moaning "meows" ring out in the basement. Should guests want more more, there's always the private room option.
